The Florida Edit - $495
Moving to Florida? Let’s Plan Before You Pack.
The Florida Home Edit is designed specifically for people relocating to Florida who are wondering: “What should I actually bring?”
Before you pay to move an entire household, we’ll help you identify which furniture and décor are worth bringing, what may not work in your new home, and how your favorite pieces can be incorporated into a lighter, more relaxed Florida look.
The Florida Style Transition
Moving to Florida doesn't mean getting rid of everything you own and buying a house full of coastal furniture.
We'll help you incorporate the pieces you love while introducing lighter colors, natural textures, relaxed fabrics and carefully selected new pieces that make your home feel appropriate for Florida without looking themed or generic.
Smarter Spending Starts Before the Moving Truck
A dining set, oversized sectional or heavy cabinet can cost a considerable amount to move—and sometimes even more to replace.
Our goal is to help you make those decisions before the truck is loaded.
Instead of: Move everything → discover it doesn't work → sell it → buy everything again
we help you:
Edit first → move intentionally → incorporate what works → purchase only what's missing.
Beautiful Rooms. Thoughtful Details. Smarter Spending.
What’s Included
-
Pre-Move Virtual Consultation - We’ll meet by Zoom and review the furniture, artwork and décor you're considering bringing with you. Photos, video or a live walk-through of your current home can all be used. Together, we'll categorize pieces as:
KEEP • MOVE • RESTYLE • SELL • REPLACE
-
We’ll consider more than just style. We'll look at size, scale, color, function, replacement cost and moving cost to help determine whether a piece is truly worth bringing.
-
Review of Your New Florida Home
Already bought or rented your Florida home? Send us the listing, photos, measurements or floor plan, or take us through the home virtually.
We'll consider:
-
Which existing pieces will work in the new space
-
Furniture scale and placement
-
Room flow
-
Florida architecture and finishes
-
Pieces you may be missing
-
Where your existing furniture may feel too dark, heavy or traditional
-
Ways to update those pieces rather than automatically replacing them
Once You're in Florida
Your Florida Home Edit also includes an up to 2-hour in-home consultation (within the Treasure Coast, Martin County or Palm Beach areas) or virtual consultation if outside of those areas once you're settled.
We'll walk through your primary living spaces and help determine how to make everything work together.
We can address:
-
Furniture placement and room flow
-
What should stay and what may still need to go
-
Mixing your existing furniture with new pieces
-
Paint and color direction
-
Rugs and textiles
-
Lighting
-
Artwork placement
-
Window treatments
-
Accessories and greenery
-
Missing furniture pieces
