The Room Refresh - $1495
For the room that isn’t quite working—but doesn’t need a complete renovation.
The Room Refresh is designed for homeowners who want their space to feel more cohesive, updated and beautifully finished without starting over. We begin with what you already own, determine what’s worth keeping, and then identify the changes and additions that will make the biggest impact.
The goal is simple: a beautiful room, thoughtful choices and smarter spending.
Your Room Refresh Includes:
1. In-Home Design Consultation — Up to 2 Hours
We’ll walk through the room together and talk about your style, how you use the space, what you love, what isn’t working and what you’re comfortable spending. We’ll evaluate your existing furniture and décor and determine what should be kept, moved, restyled, repurposed or replaced.
2. Furniture Layout & Space Planning
We’ll create a better plan for the room based on flow, function, scale and balance. Whenever possible, we’ll work with furniture you already own before recommending something new.
3. Color & Finish Direction
Recommendations may include paint colors, wood tones, metals, fabrics and other finishes needed to make the room feel cohesive.
4. Lighting Recommendations
We’ll evaluate existing lighting and recommend changes when needed, including lamps, chandeliers, pendants or decorative lighting.
5. Rugs, Artwork & Accessories
We’ll identify the pieces needed to finish the room and recommend appropriate sizes, placement, colors and styles.
6. Window-Treatment Recommendations
We’ll help determine the appropriate style, color, length and placement of curtains, shades or other decorative window treatments.
7. Furniture Recommendations & Sourcing
If something is missing, we’ll help identify what the room actually needs. That might be a sofa, chairs, console, coffee table, side tables or other key pieces. And this is an important Room & Detail difference: we don't believe beautiful means expensive. We'll consider retail, consignment, vintage, and other sources to find pieces that make sense for both the room and your budget.
8. Digital Room Concept / Visualization
We’ll create a visual concept so you can better understand the direction of the finished room before making major purchases.
9. Curated Shopping List
You'll receive a personalized list of recommended furnishings, décor and finishing pieces so you know exactly what to look for or purchase.
10. Final Styling Visit
Once your selected pieces have arrived, we'll return for a final styling visit to help bring everything together—furniture placement, pillows, artwork, accessories and those finishing details that make the room feel complete.
What Isn't Included
The $1,495 fee covers our design, planning, sourcing recommendations and included styling services. Furniture, décor, rugs, lighting, window treatments, paint, materials, delivery fees, tradespeople and contractor services are purchased separately.
Major renovation planning, construction management and extensive contractor coordination are also outside the Room Refresh and can be quoted separately when appropriate.
